Despite it was my first fashion photoshoot, and many photographers do not really like their early work because it is believed that when we start we don’t have enough practice, technical literacy, and self-confidence. But I like this photoshoot. I just met Daphne at casting at a modeling agency Neal Hamil in Houston, Texas. I was modeling too and had a contract with them. She filled me with her open smile how she performed Bachata (I guess). The rest girls looked more shy and cold.
At the same agency, I met a designer Meru Merus with whom we agreed on TFP shoot. Accessories have been provided by Jessie Dugan. In general, it was such a general collaboration. There were two nuances that complicated the photoshoot – one of the dresses was very long plus I didn’t feel very comfortable controlling the light when shooting. Therefore, some photos have noise. Nevertheless, I love this photoshoot, because it seems to be a story about Daphne’s walk with Zeppelin. Rather, like a short movie from photographs. And we all were just dreamers and beginners in our business – photographer, model, fashion designer and accessory design. We didn’t do it for money, we did it because we enjoyed it.
